Ballet Body Conditioning
& Strength coach
Founder of ABW
"Daisuke began his ballet training at the age of 17.
Despite being a late starter, he became a professional ballet dancer with his passion and his positive philosophy.
After dancing professionally with several professional companies and national theatre, Daisuke decided to retire at the age of 29 years old.
After his retirement, he studied and received a Diploma with Trinity College, as well as a 1st class honours degree in professional dance with Middlesex University, topped up with PGCE with the University of South Wales.
Now, Daisuke is a fully qualified professional ballet teacher with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and holds Licentiate qualification (currently the only ballet teacher to hold the qualification in Wales).
Daisuke is the founder of Adult Ballet Wales and he directs Children's Ballet Wales across South Wales with his wife, Ms Natalie.
He also lectures at Coleg Gwent.
He is a father of two young sons. He sends his children to Montessori school as he strongly believes true education and self-discipline are the way to develop life. This what Daisuke wants to his students to learn through his ballet training; Independency, Self-discipline and continuous curiosity in life
Daisuke's ambition is to raise Wales's standard of ballet by his unique style of coaching. He enjoys refining his knowledge based on his professional experience. His mission is to support the progression of his students, to become truly educated, more complete human beings through his training."

Chris holds a degree in Sports Medicine & Nutrition and ongoing Masters in Strength & Conditioning has allowed him to develop a strong understanding of the major and intricate concepts surrounding health, exercise, and nutrition. With a focus on neuromuscular manual therapy and functional neurology, my aim is to teach and motivate dancers to train and practice safely and efficiently so they can have long, happy, pain free careers.
Following on from working at KS Dance alongside Science in Dance founder Rupert Wiltshire, I have consulted for the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre in Czech Republic, where I gave lectures and workshops on strength training, nutrition, and pain and performance.
Chris guested our summer school to provide his Body conditioning session for dancers.
Now, he joined the team to take weekly body conditioning sessions online to take care and maintain our students strength and conditioning.
