"Daisuke began his ballet training at the age of 17.

Despite being a late starter, he became a professional ballet dancer with his passion and his positive philosophy.

After dancing professionally with several professional companies and national theatre,  Daisuke decided to retire at the age of 29 years old.

After his retirement he gained a Diploma from Trinity College, 1st class honours degree in professional dance with Middlesex University, topped up with PGCE with the University of South Wales.

Now, Daisuke is a fully qualified professional ballet teacher with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and holds a Fellowship qualification (currently the only ballet teacher to hold the qualification in Wales).

Daisuke is the founder of Adult Ballet Wales and he directs Children's Ballet Wales across South Wales with his wife, Ms Natalie.

He also lectures at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and Coleg Gwent.

He is a father of two young sons and a daughter. He sends his children to Montessori school as he strongly believes true education and independency are the way to develop life.

Daisuke's ambition is to raise Wales's standard of ballet through his unique style of coaching. He enjoys refining his knowledge based on his professional experience.

His mission is deepening his understanding of ballet, humans and life by supporting the progression of his students."

Kaia has a broad training in ballet starting from the age of 3 in Cape Town, South Africa. She has completed exams with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) up to Intermediate level gaining distinctions in all her exams with her aim to be professional.

Kaia joined Cape Junior Ballet, being a renowned ballet company for young dancers in South Africa from a young age, as well as other intensive training studios. Kaia competed in many competitions, achieving high results with Distinctions and Diplomas as well as winning majority of her final entries in the competitions.

As well as competitions, Kaia has been in many ballet shows. She danced the role of the Mirlitons in the Nutcracker with Cape Town’s professional company (Cape Town City Ballet). She danced alongside principal dancers of The Royal Ballet - Vadim Muntagirov and Daria Klimentova who guest performed in the Nutcracker production in South Africa.

Upon moving to Wales at the age of 15, she is going to work on  a degree at the Royal Academy of Dance in  a BA in Ballet Education. Her aim is to dance, teach and choreograph upon completing her degree. Kaia has creative, analytical, and evaluative skills with the aim of helping students at Adult Ballet Wales to improve dancer’s technique, precision, and performance. Kaia will be teaching with Daisuke at Adult Ballet Wales.

Alesha is ISTD trained in ballet, tap, modern jazz and contemporary and has completed exams in all of them, now focusing on the last Advanced exams.
She is an avid musical theatre performer who continues to take part in and help to direct local productions.

Since leaving college, Alesha has been teaching in several theatre and dance schools and is so happy to pass on her knowledge and watch how students grow and improve.
She teaches both dance and singing and most enjoys that she can share her passion with others.

Alesha is looking to get her DDE as part of the ISTD Teaching Qualification in the future so that she can teach exam syllabus and enter students into exams.

Alesha started dancing at the age of 17, and being a late starter feels that she can provide a unique and fresh take on tips for technique, strength-building exercises and maintaining a positive attitude even during challenging classes.
Alesha is very excited to be teaching with Daisuke at Adult Ballet Wales.
